Tea tastings can be an exploration of taste and scent, or just about relaxing into a quiet moment of appreciation of tea and people. We have over 180 teas in eight categories and these tastings are a wonderful way to discover them.
Tastings can be hosted for individuals, or for small or large groups. We have a number of different options we can suggest, or we can tailor this experience to your desires. Just let us know which teas you love.
Nine Categories (45 minutes)
This will expose you to the nine categories of tea that Nigiro Tea offers. We will expose you to the differences between the types of tea, and give you a greater understanding of how the tea is processed.

Artistic Show Flower Tea Tasting
This is a selection of 3 different kinds of flowering teas open dramatically in the cup. These skilfully hand-tied teas are a speciality of the Fujian and Yunnan provinces of mainland China. We will taste Blooming Richness (pink amaranth), Flower Gate (jasmine and pink amaranth), and Dan Gui Piao Xiang (red chrysanthemum & osmanthus).
