Ali Mountain is well-known for its amazing energy and stories connected to oolong tea making at low to medium level of oxidisation, making it grassy and refreshing. This time, the oxidisation went a little step further to bordering that of black tea, exceeding the oxidation level of Oriental Beauty. Big leaf style tea leaves are plucked, then exposed under the sun, before proceeding to oxidisation chambers at low temperature for about 48-72hrs to achieve high overall oxidisation. Final product is a cup filled with black tea flavours, yet retaining multi-facet characteristics of an Oolong. This tea has a bright deep amber liquor, filled with rich fruit fragrance, and finished with an aftertaste of honey, excellent for vintage.
