Unique to South Africa, buchu leaves are grown in the Western and Eastern Cape. The appearance of the fresh leaves is lush evergreen with saw-like edges, petite and cute, but when dried, the colour of the leaves change a little pale in colour. Its strong unique aroma is very earthy, grassy like peppermint, spicy like rosemary, and fruity like berry.
